Makunga paid tribute to the Club’s supporters and the media following a huge turnout at Saturday’s Soweto derby against Moroka Swallows.

“We were overwhelmed by the turnout at the Olympia particularly considering the late changes we had to deal with. Our supporters and fans did not disappoint and we are also grateful for support we enjoyed from our media partners who ensured that we reach out to our supporters even at that late stage. This kind of gesture from our supporters augers well with our preparations for both the Confederations Cup in June and the World Cup next year,” he said

“The premiership race is very much open and the journey continues thus we would like to urge the Amakhosi faithful to once again rally behind the team that is determined to fight to the very last end,” he concluded.
