The FNB Stadium will be hive of activity as Chiefs play their first home game of the season at the famous ground, when they entertain Jomo Cosmos in a PSL encounter on Wednesday evening.

Coach Ernst Middendorp did not make a secret of the fact that he was not totally pleased with The Amakhosi’s goalless draw with Benoni Premier United this past weekend, and has called on his troops to put up a fight and come back with three points against a yet undefeated Cosmos team.

Ernst Middendorp has shown that he means business against Cosmos and has made three changes from Sunday’s match; he welcomes back midfielders Arthur Zwane and Thabo Mooki along with Gert Schalkwyk who also returns to the starting eleven after coming on as a substitute against Benoni United on the weekend.

Mooki’s return has been a boost for Ernst Middendorp and he is confident that Thabo’s experience will assist Chiefs in stamping their authority in the midfield. New signing Rotson Kilambe will start Wednesday night’s game from the substitute’s bench and it is expected that he will make first appearance for The Amakhosi some time during the game against Cosmos.
