Young striker, Lucky Khune known affectionately as ‘Kaka’ told kaizerchiefs.com on Thursday he is going to worker harder in realizing his dream to be a regular in the Kaizer Chiefs first team.

Lucky a free scorer during his days at Kaizer Chiefs Development made his debut for the Glamour Boys on Wednesday night when he replaced Abia Nale with three minutes to go as Chiefs beat Black Aces 2-0 at Loftus Stadium.

“I was even surprised to sit on the bench,” said Khune who has been in the traveling squad for the past three games.

“I was so surprised when I was called to prepare myself to play…this is the opportunity that I have been waiting for. I played on the right and the coach told me to avoid making unnecessary tricks and stick to basics. I am grateful for the opportunity but I am the first to admit that I have a lot of work ahead of me. At the end we were all delighted after registering a win last night and we want to finish the league on a high note,” said Khune.
