The soft-spoken sensation who went back home to Zimbabwe during the Christmas break was speaking to kaizerchiefs.com after a taxing training session under the watchful eye of Vladimir Vermezovic on Tuesday morning.

“I am back now,” he said with a smile.

“It is always frustrating when you cannot play because of an injury but one thing that put a smile on my face was that my teammates were doing very well. We won four out of six games in December. We are now left with six games and we will see what will happen. The fans expect us to win every game and we have to continue giving our best,” he said.

Musona has been nominated for Jet Rookie Club of the Month, following his scintillating form before getting injured.

“It is always nice when you get nominated for an award but for me it is all about the team. I am focusing on returning back to the team when we play Moroka Swallows,” he concluded.
