Kaizer Chiefs mentor, Muhsin Ertugral has told kaizerchiefs.com that he is not concerned about the speculation about his future and that his main focus is the league.

The Turkish born coach who became the first coach to win the inaugural MTN 8 trophy back in September has been hard at work with his players despite ongoing speculation in the media about his future at the club.

“The most important thing now is the match against Free State Stars not Muhsin (Ertugral),” he said on Thursday morning.

“I still believe we have a great chance to challenge for league honours this season. It is normal that team’s confidence go down following a defeat but the boys have picked up and they are ready to fight come Saturday afternoon” he said.

Muhsin also took time to once again pay tribute to Kaizer Chiefs faithful for the support they have given the team this season.

“I have always said that with Kaizer Chiefs fans we have among the best in the world. They have continued to rally behind the Club throughout what has been a difficult season for the players. I am confident that come Saturday at Olympia Stadium they will fill the stadium as a ‘twelve man’ on the field.”

Siphiwe Tshabalala who has started all league and cup games this season will miss out an opportunity to play against his former team due to suspension.

“It would have been nice to have Shabba (Siphiwe Tshabalala) following his two great games for Bafana Bafana. We will have to do without him on Saturday due to suspension,” he added.
