Kaizer Chiefs will looking at bouncing back to winning ways when they welcome Platinum Stars in an Absa Premiership clash at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, 29 October 2011.



The two sides will be meeting for the second time in less than seven days after meeting in the Telkom Knockout last Sunday at Royal Bafokeng.



The team boosted by the return of goalkeeper and newly appointed captain, Itumeleng Khune who resumed light training on Wednesday morning at Club HQ at Naturena is aware of the importance of coming back with positive result to keep in touch with leaders, SuperSport United.



The Amakhosi are second on the log having collected 16 points in eight games and are two points adrift of SuperSport United who are occupying the first spot.



Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung was positive about the upcoming encounter; “The players are all looking forward to the game against Stars this coming Saturday.



It is our aim to continue picking up the points like we did in the same venue when we beat Black Leopards. We are delighted that goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune has finally returned to training and this will boost the team ahead of the game.



“Games between the two sides have been closely contested over the years and like it was the last time the two teams met in the league, this coming fixture is a ‘not to be missed’ for our supporters.

Kick off for this encounter is at 20:15. Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers at R40 for adults and R10 for children.
