Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung told the guests during the Vodacom Challenge press conference at Emperor’s Palace near OR Tambo airport that the Club is going to do everything to ensure that the Challenge trophy remains at Naturena.

The Glamour Boys are taking on Tottenham Hotspur in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter at Peter Mokaba Stadium and on Thursday they will have to beat rivals Orlando Pirates at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to ensure ticket to the final.

“The trophy has to remain at our Village in Naturena,” said the confident looking Jessica Motaung speaking to kaizerchiefs.com.

“We are looking forward to the game against Tottenham Hotspur at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday. On Saturday the team will also be wearing our new jersey for the first time in a game so we are definitely looking forward to it. People argue that we have not beaten Spurs but we have good record in this competition having beaten both Manchester United and Manchester City when we won the trophy back in 2009.”

Meanwhile Tottenham Hotspur captain and England international, Michael Dawson told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates are looking forward to the game in Polokwane on Saturday.

“As a team we are excited to be here. South Africa is a great country and we all saw how successful the 2010 World Cup hosted here was. I do not know much about Kaizer Chiefs but I am sure on Saturday it won’t take long before I know which guy to chase on the pitch,” he said with a smile.

Kick off for the game is at 15:00.
