In its recruitment drive held at kwa-Mzoli in Gugulethu, Cape Town on Sunday 20 July 2008, the Amakhosi Supporters Club attracted a huge interest from international supporters who signed-up for their membership post the exhilarating game between the Amakhosi and Manchester United. "We are Amakhosi 4 Life!" screamed the excited new family members.



"Soccer is our game and Kaizer Chiefs is our team. They are a stylish football club, have young talented players and are the biggest football brand in South Africa," said the Thomas Wielfaert, who is originally from Belgium.



"It excites me to see that in our mission to grow our membership, we are attracting diverse fans and supporters. As we move forward, we are nurturing the new faces of the Amakhosi family, those that reflect the rainbow nation," said Siyabulela Makunga Kaizer Chiefs newly appointed Public Relations Manager.



The new members appreciated the fulfilling and rewarding package of the Amakhosi membership cards including the value adding benefits that come with the newly packaged membership card.



"As the Western Cape province we pride ourselves for being one of the Kaizer Chiefs Supporters Club that grows diversity in our membership. We are proud to be setting the tone for the other branches,” said Mr Lindaman Xesi, Chairperson of the Western Cape Supporters Club.
