Tefu Mashamaite has expressed his delight to finally pull on the training gear having had an opportunity to train with some of his teammates since Monday, 21 June, in preparing for what promises to be a grueling 2011/2012 season.



The players who were non regulars last season, those recovering from injuries, the U19s were joined by the new signings on Monday and have been working hard under the watchful eye of Assistant Coach, Arthur Zwane, Team Physio Dave Milner and Physical Trainer, Josh Smith.



Tefu Mashamaite who was Vladimir Vermezovic’s first signing for the upcoming season reiterated his ambition to win the league with the Club.

“I am focused on adding value to this Club. I want to contribute to the Club’s goal to win the Absa Premiership this season. I want to help the Club continue to win trophies including the league title.”



‘Roadblock’ as Mashamaite is affectionately known to kaizerchiefs.com revealed that he has received a warm welcome from his teammates since he started training with the team on Monday.

“Everyone has been fantastic be it the Technical Team, guys from the development to the senior guys.

One can see that everyone is focused on single goal to contribute in maintaining the Club’s culture of winning.

Talking to the guys and looking at how everyone has been responding to training one can see that everyone is already excited about the season ahead.”



The rest of the team returns on Monday, 27 June 2011.
