Kaizer Chiefs captain Jimmy Tau has reassured the Amakhosi faithful that he is recovering well after a knee operation he had underwent last week. Tau’s medical fix caused a bit of a panic to some of Kaizer Chiefs supporters and football fanatics in general. Messages of support having been pouring in to Naturena wishing the Chiefs natural right back well, ahead of the operation.



“The operation went very well and I obviously need not to rush myself but I cannot wait to be back at training. I must say, I am indebted to the Amakhosi faithful who have been supportive during the times of need. I will forever be grateful to them,” Jimmy told kaizerchiefs.com



Tau played his last game of the season against Platinum Stars before he was replaced at half time owing to a knee injury.



Speaking from his home soil in Kimberley, Jimmy also revealed that, “Like everyone at the Village (referring to the Kaizer Chiefs headquarters) I am so looking forward to be working our new Coach, Mr. Vladimir Vermezovic”.



The Glamour boys are expected to resume training on the 22nd June to prepare for the 10th chapter of the Vodacom Challenge.
