The Glamour Boys will take the field against Mamelodi Sundowns for the first time this season without the services of the highly rated defender, Thomas Sweswe.

“Rambo” as the player is affectionately known has won respect from opposition strikers and fans alike for his exploits since making his league debut against Santos back in August this year.

Sweswe picked up a third caution this season in a thrilling encounter against Ajax Cape Town early this month and is now serving a one match suspension. He should be back when Chiefs welcome Moroka Swallows on Wednesday, 21 October 2009.

He expressed his disappointment to kaizerchiefs.com about missing the mouth-watering clash against Mamelodi Sundowns at Super Stadium this weekend.

“I want to play all the games and I am very disappointed to miss the game on Saturday. It’s games like the one on Saturday that men are separated from the boys and I really wanted to be part of it. I have confidence though that we have enough players to do the business against Sundowns. The guys also showed on Sunday that we have enough depth in the team,” said Sweswe.
