Kaizer Chiefs coach, Muhsin Ertugral got a much needed boost from Amakhosi faithful who visited the Village on Friday as part of the Home Coming visit. The Home Coming visit was initiated by the Amakhosi Supporters Club and is a symbolic gesture to reward branches who are doing well on recruitment. The branches had a golden opportunity to interact with some members of the Management team and took photos with the playing staff.



Today, Kaizer Chiefs Village was graced by Pietermaritzburg and Folweni branches led by the Amakhosi Supporters Club’s Provincial Chairperson in KwaZulu Natal, Norman Mkhize.



The Glamour Boys have only collected 1 point in possible 9 points and they are hosting unpredictable, Platinum Stars this weekend at Olympia Park, Rustenburg. The game will kick off at 18h00.



Norman Mkhize speaking on behalf of the supporters assured the Coach of the supporter’s confidence in the entire team, “I want to congratulate you for the work you have done with the team especially for bringing the MTN 8 to Naturena. We know that you have had your ups and downs with the team, but I want to assure you that we are behind you every step of the way,” he said.



Muhsin Ertugral who was welcomed with an exhilarating song, “Umshini Wam” (meaning my Mushin, the coach’s first name) told the supporters that his number one objective for rejoining the team last season was to make success of the team.



“This team is very special to me,” he said.



“You, the supporters, make it very special and for that we are grateful. I want to commit to you, that I will do everything in my power to put this team back to its rightful position,” he concluded.
