Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Jabu Pule is yet to contact the club following an indefinite suspension handed on him for missing camp and a crucial cup match over the weekend.

Communications manager Putco Mafani says Pule has not made any effort to contact the club and that Amakhosi are still in the dark regarding his where about. Pule was reportedly seen in the Auckland Park vicinity on Sunday - the same day Chiefs hammered Sundowns 3-1 in the first round of the Absa Cup.

"We are still waiting for him to contact the club and the club will only set a date for a DC hearing once he presents himself," says Mafani. "He will then be supplied with a list of charges."

While Mafani did not say what the charges were, it is clear that the former under-23 midfield wizard will be charged with misconduct and bringing the club into disrepute. It is not the first time that Pule has gone AWOL on the eve of a crucial fixture.
