Stanton 'Stiga' Fredericks scored his first goal in Russia in a second round second-leg Russian Cup match on Wednesday for his new club FK Moscow - and dedicated it to his new-born son Diego Chaz Fredericks.

Fredericks also set-up two goals as his team thrashed Yelets, a third division club, 5-0 to advance to the next stage with a healthy 8-1 aggregate.

Stiga, as Fredericks is known locally, has not seen his son in-person since relocating to Eastern Europe a month ago but the one-week young Diego, who was born on August 4, has already proven to be a great source of inspiration for the former Kaizer Chiefs and Wits University star.

However, Diego has also eclipsed the new and very proud dad by appearing on SuperSoccer before even touching - or rather seeing a ball - and by the looks of him the latest edition to the Fredericks family is already destined for football greatness.
