The Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, have avoided each other in the Telkom Charity Cup semifinals which will take place on Saturday at Soccer City.

The draw for the popular four-team Telkom Charity Cup tournament was conducted at Summer Place, Hyde Park-Johannesburg on Monday and was met with great enthusiasm from the crowd.

The defending champions, the Mighty Amakhosi, start their defence against Black Leopards and the game will kick off at 9:30am.

This leaves Pirates and the big-spending Mamelodi Sundowns, whose game commences at 11:30am.

The Brazilians will be determined to stop a possible Soweto derby as they will be looking to avenge their 2-1 defeat which they suffered at the hands of the Phefeni Glamour Boys in the final of the one-day soccer spectacular last year.

The final will be contested by the winners of the two semifinal games, kick-off is scheduled at 16:30pm.
