Football Manager, Bobby Motaung has revealed that long serving midfielder, Gerald Sibeko has signed a one-year extension that will keep him at the Village until the end of the 2010-2011 season.
Sibeko has made 120 appearances for the Amakhosi since making his debut against Thembisa Classic back in 2000. He saw little action last season but was instrumental as Chiefs beat Santos in Cape Town in the first round of Nedbank Cup. This was before he was sidelined by a injury he sustained at training.
The player has now fully recovered and reported to full training with the rest of his teammates at HPC in Pretoria.
