A limited number of the t-shirts worn by Kaizer Chiefs players, like the one being sported by Amakhosi defender Fabian McCarthy in the picture, once they were crowned the 2006-2007 SAA Supa8 Champions will be on sale from Monday this week at The Amakhosi Store located at Gandhi Square in the Johannesburg CBD.

The shirts which were supplied to Chiefs by the clubs technical sponsors Nike, have the words 2006 – 2007 SAA Supa8 Champions printed on the front, while the back of the Shirt has the words Ndizani Amakhosi emblazoned at the back. Kaizer Chiefs brand manager Dara Carroll who thought up the design for the shirts said on Monday morning.

"We have been inundated with request from supporters wanting to purchase the shirts, so in conjunction with the Amakhosi store and Nike we have been able to get our hands onto a few extra ones which be available to the public," she said.

Carroll further added: “Winning a cup title is always a special occasion and we would like our supporters to feel part of it and also take home a souvenir from the occasion which would have made the entire experience a more memorable one.”

The Chiefs brand manager also had a further surprise in store for Chiefs supporters when she announced; “as a Supa8 winning sale we will be selling the home, away and competition Kaizer Chiefs jersey for R250, just for this week.”

Fans wishing to purchase the SAA Supa8 commemorative t-shirts may do so by visiting The Amakhosi Store, which is located on the corner of Rissik and main streets in the Johannesburg CBD. Or alternatively you may contact the store on 011 838 6477, or e-mail them at amakhosistore@mweb.co.za.
