Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has made three changes to the Kaizer Chiefs starting eleven that will be taking to the field as Chiefs begin the defense of their Coca Cola Cup Crown against Maritzburg Classic at the Olimpia Park Stadium in Rustenburg.

Making his first start in almost two years is left sided player Rene Richards, who last started a league game for Chiefs in November 2003.

Joining Richards in the starting eleven is Ntokozo Sikhakhane the former Dynamos player made his debut for Chiefs when he started in the 1-1 draw against Free State Stars at the beginning of August.

John Shoes Moshoeu has also been promoted to the starting eleven, in favor of Ghanaian striker Louis Agyemang, Thabo Mooki and Scara Ngobese have been drafted in to start from the substitute’s bench this afternoon.
