Kaizer Chiefs reserves lost for the first time in five matches when they went down 2-0 to Stellenbosch in their DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) encounter at Dobsonville stadium on Sunday.

Chiefs lie fourth in the league table, with 46 points from 28 matches and a three-point advantage over fifth. They face an away trip to second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday, 3 May, before closing out the season at home to bottom-of-the-log Chippa United on Saturday, 9 May.

In the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL), Amakhosi juniors won three of their four age-group fixtures against Wits Juniors at The Village on Sunday.

The U14s steamrolled their Wits counterparts to the remarkable tune of 12-0, followed by a 3-0 victory for the U15s. The U17s also won emphatically, 6-2, but unfortunately, the U19s couldn’t complete a clean sweep, going down 2-1 in a close final game of the day.
