Chiefs started the week on a front foot with a return to training of an array of stars that all sat out last week due to various injuries.

Striker, Jose Torrealba who suffered a hamstring injury at training three weeks ago joined his teammates for full training on Monday morning. Joining Jose were his teammates, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Jeffrey Ntuka.

With the exception of Siphiwe Tshabalala, the trio, Jose Torrealba, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Jeffrey Ntuka missed the trip down to Port Elizabeth for a meeting against Bay United.

Meanwhile, Dave Milner revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that evergreen defender; Thabang Rooi will miss the game against Mamelodi Sundowns as he is still recovering from flu. The same goes for Sihle Mbambo and Punch Masenamela who both suffered at training, concussion and ankle injury respectively.

Chiefs host rivals Mamelodi Sundowns at Absa Stadium on Thursday in what promises to be a thrill-a-minute clash. Kick off for the game is at 19h30.
