Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Jabu Pule is expected to return to action after almost six weeks against Silver Stars during the Castle Premiership match at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Chiefs communications director Putco Mafani on Wednesday confirmed that the Bafana Bafana player will be available for selection after completing his suspension.

Pule was suspended by Chiefs after going AWOL on the eve of a crucial Absa Cup match against Sundowns at Odi Stadium in Mabopane early last month.

"Jabu has completed his suspension and will be available for selection against Silver Stars. He has been training hard and looking forward to the match," said Mafani.

Following the suspension of Pule, Chiefs have appointed a special committee to look into the personal problems of all their players, starting with Pule.

The committee is chaired by Chiefs co-director China Ngema.

Other members of the committee include Mafani and team manager Bobby Motaung.
