Suspended Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Jabu Pule will appear before the club's Disciplinary Committee on Friday, 12 March 2004 at 09H00 at the club's headquarters, Naturena.
This follows Pule's brief visit to the club's offices on Monday, 8th March 2004. Pule was supposed to meet Head of Department and Team Manager, Bobby Motaung to discuss among other things whether or not he would be training whilst waiting for the Disciplinary hearing. He (Pule) was told to come back on Wednesday as Motaung was out of town at the time.
Among other things Pule will face charges related to his failure to pitch for training and subsequently failing to honor the team camp on the eve of the club's crucial Last 32 ABSA Cup encounter with Sundowns. The DC will also charge Pule for putting his club into disrepute.
