Absa Premiership Fixture

Kaizer Chiefs v Tuks

Saturday, 13 September 2014

FNB Stadium, kick-off at 15:00

'They must know they are coming to us,' warns Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter ahead of a crunch Absa Premiership fixture against Amatuks.

We spoke to Baxter just after completing the final preparations for the match with a light training session at the FNB Stadium on Friday afternoon. Previous encounters between the Amakhosi and Tuks ended in a stalemate or an odd goal separating the two sides.

Baxter also spoke about the Fifa-break: 'We have had a break and that has obviously interrupted the routine. A break can be good or bad. We will see what happens during the game.'

However, after having said that, Baxter adds with supreme confidence: 'We will make several changes where we feel some players need a rest. We are still contemplating to how many changes that will lead to.'

On Saturday’s opponents Baxter comments: 'Steve Barker (the AmaTuks coach) has assembled a competitive team. They are an organised side. We are looking forward to the game. They must know they are coming to us, to our home (FNB Stadium). We will shift the gear and up the ante on Saturday.'

It will be interesting to see with what line-up Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter will come-up with for Saturday’s encounter. However, Itumeleng Khune and Katlego Mphela will both miss the game due to their respective injuries.
