The Kaizer Chiefs under-17 and under-19 Development Academy sides were engaged in reserve league matches in the last couple of days and achieved some morale boosting results.
The Under-19 side beat Edenvale 4-0 with Nqobile Msimango, Jade Lewis, Phillip Mbonani and Velaphi Mokoena supplying the goals.
The Reserve side staged a great comeback to draw 2-2 against Edenvale. The Amakhosi lads were 2-0 down at some stage and pulled a goal back just before halftime through Asanda Jamile with Thokozani Sosibo scoring the equaliser.
The under-17 beat their Wits counterparts 5-1 with two goals from Nicolas Roselle, Terence Mabaso, Kagiso Senamela and Nathi Colesa each scoring a goal.
