Donald ‘Ace’ Khuse believes that a dialogue between the national team Head Coach, Pitso Mosimane and other coaches in the league will help Bafana Bafana ahead of the qualifying campaign for World Cup 2014.

Ace Khuse a member of Bafana Bafana from its inception in 1992 to 1995 has watched the national team going from no. 19 in the world to no. 83. Things looked like they were back on track with ‘Jingles’ as Pitso Mosimane is affectionately known as he took Bafana Bafana to a respectable position in the Fifa rankings but failed to qualify for the African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.

Asked if Bafana Bafana will qualify for 2014, Ace answered speaking to the latest edition of Amakhosi magazine said, “It is going to be very tough. Pitso (Mosimane) has without a doubt what it takes as a coach to take us to greater heights but he needs support from SAFA, from everyone.

“Pitso needs to have a dialogue with the coaches in the league. HE cannot succeed by himself.

Ace regarded as one of the best midfielders to have graced South African pitches feels that the players should take responsibility for Bafana Bafana to be back to no. 1 position in Africa.

The players need to take responsibility. They should realise that it is them who can remedy the situation not the coaches.

It must start with them and if the mentality of the players is right then we will go back where we were – no. 1 in Africa.
