Pirates, Chiefs pass on football skills to the youth of KZN

Inaugural Vodacom Challenge champions Orlando Pirates and three-time title winners Kaizer Chiefs will be transferring their football knowledge and skills to the youth of KwaZulu Natal on Thursday, as both sides prepare to face each other in the final of the Vodacom Challenge at the Absa Stadium, Durban on Sunday.

Pirates will train and conduct coaching clinics at the Mpumalanga Township Stadium (formerly known as Hammersdale) at 10h00 on Thursday, with children from the Ntakamazolo Senior Primary and Mthendeleni Junior Primary schools in attendance.

Chiefs will travel to Inanda township where they will train and host coaching clinics with scholars from the Imbali Yamazulu Senior Primary and Amaoti Junior Primary schools on Thursday at 15h00.

2004 Vodacom Challenge champions A.S. Vita Club will play a friendly fixture against PSL club Golden Arrows at the Kings Park Soccer Stadium at 18h00 on Wednesday, while Zambian side Green Buffaloes will wind up their preparations for Sunday’s third/fourth place playoff against A.S. Vita Club, with a friendly match against Arrows at the same venue on Thursday at 18h00.
