The Amakhosi headed back in the direction of the site where they held a team building session on Monday.

As the entire Chiefs staff consisting of the first team personnel plus grounds staff, security and other staff members at the Chiefs Village descended upon the Cradle Restaurant at the historic cradle of humankind world heritage site for the Amakhosi’s end of the year function.



The picturesque surroundings of the Magaliesburg Mountains provided the back drop for a relaxing afternoon of festivities on Tuesday. The celebration coming hot on the heels of Chiefs most recent victory over rivals Orlando Pirates was kicked off by team manager Bobby Motaung who acted as the master of ceremonies for the event.

Chairman Kaizer Motaung first addressed the crowd and thanked all the staff including some in abstentia for their outstanding dedication and devotion that has made 2005 another historical and special year for Chiefs.

Marketing manager Jessica Motaung made an emotional speech to bring down the curtain on 2005 for the Amakhosi, after lunch it was time for some of the players lead by defender David Obua to show that their skills are not confined to the soccer field as he lead on the dance floor.



Chiefs as has been the tradition with the club through out it’s 35 year history, end the year by paying tribute to all those who have toiled to make Chiefs the successful and reputable brand that it is today. In his speech Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung said that the club owes special gratitude to it’s supporters who have stood by the team through out the years and they to need to be thanked and will be honoured by Chiefs winning hopeful of retaining their PSL crown.



On the field of play Chiefs have two more engagements before they get to close out the year, the Amakhosi first face up to the might of Golden Arrows at the FNB Stadium on Saturday. They bring an end to 2005 with a night time game against Black Leopards in Thoyandou on December 23, kick-off for that game is at 20:00.
