Obua and Nzama hoping for better performances

After virtuoso performances for their respective countries, Kaizer Chiefs players David Obua and Cyril Nzama have vowed to continue where they left off.

Following a 4-0 win over hapless Chad in Durban two weeks ago in a Group 11 clash, Chiefs’ skipper said it is all system go for his much-improved Bafana Bafana, who visit a stubborn Congo away over the weekend.

“We are fired up for this game. It is a do or die for us and we cannot allow Congo to intimidate us. We are on the right track and it will be hard for them to beat us.”

By the time he scored a scorcher against African giants Nigeria to give the Cranes their deserved win at home, Obua, who seems to have reignited himself, said they are ready for Lesotho whom they visit in a must-win Group Three match at the Setsotso Stadium on Sunday.

“We are doing well but it is early to say. We need to beat Lesotho in order to realise our dream of playing Ghana next year,” Said Obua, whose team is camping in Pretoria.
