Jeffrey Ntuka was quick to praise the Management, Technical Team and his teammates for his five star performance against Manchester City on Saturday.

It was his strike in the 41st minute that saw the Glamour Boys winning the Vodacom Challenge in front of a nearly-packed Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

“I want to thank the Management for bringing me back from Europe to play for this great Club. Now it is time for me to pay them back for the faith they showed in my abilities as a player,” said the visibly delighted Ntuka who was deployed in the midfield for the better part of the game.

“I also want to thank the coach and my teammates for all the support they have given me. I struggled a lot with injuries and now I am glad that is all over. I want to play regularly and help this team to win more trophies in the upcoming season.”

Ntuka told the press conference that the Glamour Boys played better football than City on Saturday, “We played better football all afternoon. We kept the ball on the ground and never panicked. We know that physically they are better than us but we played according to our strengths and followed the Technical Team’s instructions,” he added.
