Today we head for the remote and baking hot Upington in the Northern Cape for another consultation with supporters. Having visited the area the previous year, I see the trip as a fulfillment of an obligation I undertook to return with good news around the Amakhosi Supporters Club.

By the way, I had made a stop at the Lohatla Military Base and the Maximum Security facility just outside the main city. Supporters would gather at the Kemoesberg Hall on Saturday 09th to receive their membership cards. I have already been warned that the road to Upington is not that friendly given the gushing cross winds and misbehaving game that just rule the desert.

Immediately after Upington, the crew would head for Batho Hall in Kimberly on Sunday 10th for another meeting. I must say, the Amakhosi is usually well received in these parts of the country and it was only fair that we return to rekindle the family spirit.

Well, our reliable bus is well nourished to engage the terrain. We have replenished our supplies and our on-site card producing equipment is serviced to bring a smile to our loyal supporters.
