Michael Nkambule has warned his teammates in the South African Development Team not to take Swaziland lightly when the two sides meet on Saturday in Swaziland.

Michael Nkambule is in Serame Letsoaka’s squad preparing for the second edition of the African Nations Championship, where they will face neighbours Botswana.

“It is very important that we take the game seriously, because at this level there are no easy games. Of course we feel that we can beat Swaziland and everyone in the camp is confident, but we still need to work hard,” said the player affectionately known as “Ace”.

Nkambule, who impressed during the Peter Mokaba Cup in January, told kaizerchiefs.com he is delighted to get an opportunity to represent the country, despite seeing little action at Club level this season.

“I have continued working hard at training and I am happy that I am going to get some game time. This is an opportunity that I am going to grab with both hands,” he added.

Ace has been joined at the camp by his Club teammate, utility player Wayne Matle, and the team will depart for Swaziland on Wednesday.
