Football Manager, Bobby Motaung has revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that pint-sized midfielder, Michael Nkambule has been given a lifeline to return to the first team after being put on transfer list at the end of last season.

Nicknamed “Ace”, Nkambule joined the Kaizer Chiefs development as a 12 year old and it was his exploits during the Cosafa U-20 tournament in December 2007 that saw him being recalled to the Glamour Boys after he was transferred to Stransborg FC in France in 2005.

“We have recalled Michael back to the first team as we could not find a team for him. It is now up to him to show the coach what he can offer. There is no doubt that he is a talented player,” said Bobby on Friday morning.

“Bob-Steak” also revealed that another Chiefs development product, Bongane “Shakes” Sondhlane has been loaned out to first division outfit, Carrara Kicks while Sihle Mbambo also a product of the development has been sent to a season loan to Bay United.

Kaizer Chiefs would like to wish both players all the best in their new endeavours.
