Nike to help Chiefs stay dry

Representatives from the clubs technical sponsors Nike were on hand on Wednesday to display their new Pro Performance wear to the Kaizer Chiefs players.



The Pro Performance wear was met with positive responses from the players.



Luyanda Peters -marketing manager of Nike South Africa said of the new range of under shirt apparel while addressing the squad after training on Wednesday morning.



“Nike Pro Performance is a first layer of product to be worn under uniforms and equipments in both team sports and individual sports”.



Peters further explained that “although it cannot be seen - it plays an enormous role in enhancing the player performance”.



The Amakhosi will begin using the new range of products in training later this week. Nike has had a range of athletes from various sports around the world which include tennis ace Rafael Nadal and England Rugby player Lawrence Dellalglio testing the new pro performance range.



Famous global soccer stars such as Arsenal and France striker Thiery Henry and Manchester United duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Alan Smith first wore these products at the FA Cup Final in May when Arsenal beat Manchester United on penalties.
