Scara Ngobese’s exploits over the last season and since the start of the 2005-2006 season have not gone unnoticed by the scribes who once wrote him off as waste of money.

Also sitting up and taking notice of Scara’s bags of tricks, which have made him a crowd puller, is the business world.

The publics’ adoration of Scara has been followed by lucrative endorsements with Scara recently featuring in a range of advertisements for a trendy clothing company.

Such is the popularity of the young midfielder that the popular soccer magazine Kick Off has invited him to be part of their annual Soccer Babes issue.

In what has become a popular part of the magazine towards the end of each year, this special feature pits famous South African soccer players up with local and African models in various exotic locations modelling the latest ‘must have‘ clothing and accessories.

Since its inception shoots have been done locally as well as off shore in destinations such as Mauritius and Tanzania.

This year Scara and the rest of the crew will be heading off to Egypt - where it is expected the famous Pyramids of Giza near Cairo will provide a spectacular backdrop and Ngobese will also have some fun at Egypt’s red sea Riviera in Sharm El Shaik.
