The lanky striker announced his arrival at the Club with a superb header against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Charity and had to wait for bit longer to get his first official goal and it could not have come at a better time ahead of the game against Santos on Wednesday.

“I want to thank my teammates and the Technical Team for the support. It was good to get my first goal for the Club. I always want to do well whether I am playing against my former team or not. The most important thing is to grab an opportunity given by the coach. We wanted to win the game as the team and I was happy that I made a contribution,” said the shy striker.

Ngcobo who has earned himself the nickname “Valdez” is aware that he will need to double his efforts in ensuring that he finds the back of the net on a regular basis.
