Arthur Zwane drew mixed reactions from his teammates and the coaching staff at the Kaizer Chiefs Village on Friday morning for training, as the Chiefs midfielder turned up sporting a new hairstyle.

Zwane who is recognised for his many eccentric hairstyles, which have over the past few seasons ranged from various differentiations of dread locks to a large frock he donned two years ago. This time Arthur has gone to the other extreme as he decided to go under the knife at a Johannesburg Salon and opted for the clean look.

The bold Zwane has gone for the bald look, when asked about the motivation for his new hair style he said “I needed some fresh air and also I felt I needed a new look, I was tired of my old style and so I opted to join Scara Ngobese in the hairless ranks”.

Arthur’s new hairstyle does not seem to have affected his effective and destructive style of play as he shone brightest with some assistance from the sun beating down on his scalp, at training on Friday.
