Nengomasha makes his Nations Cup debut

Kaizer Chiefs midfield strongman Tenashe Nengomasha made his African Nations Cup as his native Zimbabwe went down 2-1 to Egypt in the Group C encounter in Sfax on Sunday.

The young Zimbabwean, who made his international debut in the Cosafa Cup semifinal clash against Swaziland on August 31 in Bulawayo. On that occasion the Zimbabweans won 1-0 through Peter Ndolvu’s goal and Nengomasha played the entire match.

Against the Pharaohs, Nengomasha was also given a run the entire match and he never disappointed as he made vital tackles where it mattered most and in some instances also helped in attack.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi’s DR Congo hitman Kabamba Musasa was on the bench when his country went down 2-1 against Guinea in a Group a match played at El-Menzah.
