Kaizer Chiefs will travel to Cape Town on Friday without the services of defender; Valery Nahayo and star midfielder, Siphiwe Tshabalala who are both suspended for the game after both players were cautioned on Saturday.

The Glamour Boys will be looking at consolidating their position on the log when they visit high flying Ajax Cape Town at the impressive Cape Town Stadium on Friday night.

Kick off is at 20h45.

The two players were both superb on Saturday as Chiefs beat log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by 1-0 to close the gap to only a single point. While Valery Nahayo won the Man-of-the-Match award Siphiwe Tshabalala supplied the cross for Kaizer Motaung JR to head home the only goal of the match.

Vladimir Vermezovic speaking to kaizerchiefs.com insisted that there is enough depth to fill the gap left by the two players, “I said it early this season that we have enough quality on the side to replace any player. Our depth have been tested quite a number of times this season and we have come out tops.”

For instance, Thomas Sweswe who did not play against Sundowns will probably come in for Nahayo.

Sweswe was brilliant in the last two games before break alongside Dominic Isaacs,” said Vermezovic adding that the Club is considering bringing back young centre back, Lucky Baloyi who is currently on loan to Soweto Panthers.
