DR Congo international striker Kabamba Musasa could be out of action for two weeks after suffering an ankle injury in the Telkom charity Cup over the weekend.

Musasa was taken to hospital on Saturday for an x-ray and Amakhosi doctors say the player was lucky as there was no fracture to his ankle. However the player could be out for two weeks and if that is the case he will miss the SAA Supa Eight clash against Wits University this Sunday.

Fredericks should be back

On-song midfield Stanton Fredericks missed the Charity Cup victory with a thigh strain suffered in the International Bid Challenge against Tottenham Hotspur last Tuesday. Good news is that Stiga should be ready to face his former club Wits in the opening round of the Supa Eight.

Dlamini doubtful

Swazi international striker Sbusiso Dlamini is likely to miss the clash against Wits with a thigh strain - also sustained against Spurs. The striker, who has been given a 50/50 chance, will know his fate later in the week.

Other than these three cases, there are no serious injuries in the Amakhosi camp. Only a couple of knocks and bumps were reported at training this morning but a full report will be available by Wednesday or Thursday.
