Premier Soccer League announced on Thursday that the mouth watering final between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns will be played at Absa Stadium on Saturday, 20 September 2007. Kickoff for the game is at 20h15.

Kaizer Chiefs return to Durban where they won this cup in 2006 beating Supersport United by 1-0 and the following season, Mamelodi Sundowns beat Orlando Pirates by 1-0.

Public Relations Manager, Siyabulela Makunga welcomed the decision of the cup committee to take the game to KwaZulu/Natal.

“Our fans have been fantastic since we started in Cape Town where we played against Manchester United, then to Port Elizabeth to play Orlando Pirates. We played the Telkom Charity Cup in North West, Mafikeng, before that we were at Loftus and in all these encounters Amakhosi faithful have been a marvel in painting the stadia gold and black as shown in Rustenburg last Sunday.

"We are thrilled with the news of going to Durban as we have not been there since we resumed with our preparations for the season," he said.
