South African football legend and corner-kick specialist Edward 'Msomi' Khoza will be buried at the Witbank Cemetery on Saturday.

Khoza, who was a SA Football Association Highveld executive

member, had been ill for some time and passed away last weekend.

Khoza began his soccer career as caption of Witbank Aces Colts

and later played alongside Mpumalanga greats such as Moses "Slow"

Masuku, Elias "City Council" Dlamini and Alex "Excellent" Mabuza in

the main team at Witbank Black Aces.

In the early 1970s Khoza became a co-founder and key player of

Kaizer Chiefs.

He will be buried at the Pretoria Road Memorial Park in Witbank

on Saturday. The funeral service will be held at the Assemblies of

God, Botha Street, Lynville in Witbank at 9am. The Cortege will

leave for the cemetery at noon.
