Kaizer Motaung Jnr, the son of the Kaizer Chiefs chairman, is one of the five strikers called up for the national under-23 training camp in preparations for the All Africa Games Qualifier against Angola on January 25 at the Orlando Stadium.

The young Motaung, who plays for 1860 Munich in Germany and one of the players whom an eye should be kept on, will be making his second appearance in the national team colours.

Other overseas-based players called up include captain Gabriel "Ninja" Mofokeng of Ajax Amsterdam, Nasief Morris of Aries FC in Greece and Bevan Fransman of Royal Excelsior.

The squad is made up mainly of local-based players with major involved with Premiership clubs. First division side Maritzburg City has two representatives in Edward Malinga and Thabiso Rammile, who are both defenders.

South Africa progressed to the second round of qualifiers by beating Malawi 4-3 on penalties, in a nail-biting play-off in October last year.

Against Angola, South Africa will have a last chance to make it through to the next round of qualifiers that will ultimately decide their fate at the Games to be held in Abuja, Nigeria in October this year.

The return match will see the South African travel to Launda where they will take on the central Africans on February 24.

Meanwhile, the SA Football Association also announced the details of a Four Nation tournament that will take place from February 3 to 7, involving the likes of Namibia, South Korea, Lesotho as well as South Africa.

The competition will be staged at the Orlando Stadium with the South Africans taking on the Koreans for the first time. They will also face strong competition from Lesotho and Namibia to retain the trophy they won in last year’s event.

The Koreans will arrive in South Africa on January 21 to begin their preparations, while the other visiting countries are scheduled to report in Johannesburg on February 1.
