Kaizer Chiefs midfielder John Shoes Moshoeu, a veteran of four African Cup of Nations with Bafana Bafana is poised to make his fifth appearance at the finals event of the African Nations Cup.

Shoes looks set to travel to Egypt in January and attend his fifth finals but this time around without the pressure that has accompanied him to the past four tournaments he has been to.

This time around Moshoeu will be running the rule over those who will be taking the field, as he goes to Egypt as part of the BBC team that will at the Nations Cup.



Moshoeu has been contacted by the British Broadcasting Cooperation who give extensive coverage to African Football in general to do commentary for two of the four quarterfinal matches. In addition he will also be at both the semifinal games - the 3rd and 4th place play-off and the final, which will be played on February 10, at the Cairo Stadium in the Egyptian capital.

Shoes is still to confirm with the BBC whether he will accept their offer but has indicated that the chance to work with the BBC could open other doors for him once his playing days are over.
