Defender, Tlou “Spanner” Molekwane has wished national U-20 team currently doing duty in Egypt all the best ahead of the crucial fixture against Hungary.

“Spanner” as surprise exclusion to the team that was selected by coach, Serame Letsoaka has expressed an undivided support for Amajita who threw a 2-0 lead to draw 2 all against UAE in the opening match on Sunday.

“I am here but in spirit I am with the boys in Egypt,” said Molekwane speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Wednesday.

“It was disappointing to be left behind but I have put that behind me. The guys really played well against UAE and it was unfortunate that we conceded goals and ended up getting a single point at the end of the match. I am sure everyone has learnt a lesson following that game. We can go out and beat Hungary tonight, which will put us in a good position to qualify for knockout stages in the tournament. Once again I would like to wish the guys all the best against Hungary,” he said.

Meanwhile Molekwane has said that he will continue to fight for a regular place at the Club after starting few games this season. Tlou first lost starting berth to captain, Jimmy Tau and now, Tshifiwa Mmbooi has impressed on the right back position.

“I always welcome competition and for I just have to continue working hard in improving all areas of my game,” he concluded.
