Kaizer Chiefs spokesman Thebe Mohatle has urged his passionate fans to continue voting for their team after Mamelodi Sundowns overtook them in the annual Telkom Charity Cup voting system.

Now placed third after acquiring 6 690 votes, Chiefs are looking forward to the 22nd edition of this one-day tournament.

“We cannot allow ourselves to be beaten by Sundowns, so that means we need to step up a gear. The fans know the importance of this tournament and we have not missed even a single one, I urge them to vote in their numbers. We will be using the Telkom tournament to see how far we can go this coming season.

“Our fans are hungry and it is imperative that we give them what they want but first they must vote for us as we seek their loyal support.”
