The acrobatic goal minder Abel Kabelo Metsimetsi from Carrara Kicks has joined the Naturena boys for training in a closed camp. The Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager, Bobby Motaung said.

“We have just been joined in our preseason camp by the reliable and talented goalkeeper, Abel Metsimetsi from the National First Division side, Carrara Kicks.

Like we said last week we are not going to rush things, the technical team will obviously assess the player before making any recommendations of what they think of him. At this stage I can only wish him the best at training.”

The 29 year old agile goalkeeper who has also played for Cemforce and Yebo Yes (both from the Vodacom League) and Louis Vale Pirates in the NFD made impressive acrobatic saves for his team Carrara Kicks during last year’s Nedbank Cup and the NFD play-offs.
