Kaizer Chiefs are disappointed with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) for failing to bring their deadly striker Collins Mbesuma back after scoring a hatrick for his country in a world Cup qualifier last Sunday.

Mbesuma is still to report for training at Naturena and team manager, Bobby Motaung, has made several calls to the player and to FAZ officials without any success.

"This is not the first time that Mbesuma disappears after representing his country and unfortunately we are not getting any joy from his association, we are really disturbed by this as it clearly indicates gross disrespect from his association and the player himself," said an angry Motaung.

"Obviously we are making our own investigations about this matter but the player will face the club's disciplinary committee on his return, as we have a responsibility to show justice and discipline to all players," he said.

Mbesuma was at the center of the same controversy during winter when he missed out on the off-season Vodacom Challenge games.

Motaung said his club would send another letter of complaint to FAZ and the Fifa about the situation.
