Mbesuma gets warning!

Posted in News on Oct 20, 2004.

Defending Coca-Cola Cup and league champions Kaizer Chiefs have given their star striker Collins ‘Ntofontofo’ Mbesuma a warning for failure to communicate with the club when he had what he called domestic problems that kept him in Zambia for an extra three days after representing his country in a World Cup qualifier.

This comes after an hour long meeting the player had with the Team Manager Bobby Motaung, Administrative Manager, Abdulla Mayet and coach Ted Dumitru where Mbesuma pleaded for mercy because he had “tried fruitlessly” getting through to the national team coach Kalusha Bwalya for the purposes of facilitating communication with the club.

Mbesuma is training hard with rest of his colleagues preparing for the Coca Cola Cup showdown against Golden Arrows in Durban on Sunday, 24 October 2004.

Tickets are already on sale for R20 at all Computicket outlets.
