Matshitse on loan to Royals

Kaizer Chiefs MD Kaizer Motaung reveals in the upcoming Chairman’s Viewpoint that defender Peter Matshitse will be loaned out to relegation threatened Zulu Royals.

However, the Amakhosi boss says deal is subject to the player agreeing terms with Royals.

“Peter Matshitse is likely to go to Zulu Royals on a loan deal and the club will have an option to sign him on a long-term contract at the end of the loan period. We have agreed terms with Royals and it is now up to the player to agree personal terms with the club,” says Motaung.

Matshitse has not played for Chiefs since the Castle Premiership game against Black Leopards in September last year where he was seriously injured while going for a high ball. The former Moroka Swallows defender is now fully recovered and was supposed to have made a comeback in the game against Jomo Cosmos in place of injured Bevan Fransman but the technical staff decided against this move.
