Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic has said that the game against Manchester City will be a huge test for his players. The Serbian mentor was speaking at the well attended press conference on Monday afternoon at Absa Stadium.

Kick off is at 20h00.



“It is a huge game for the players but I am happy with them both from the psychological and physical point of view,” said the Serbian born coach.



“There is always a pressure from the fans for the team to do well. For us as the Technical Team it is another opportunity to have a look at players and intensify our preparations for the upcoming season.

We are taking it one game at a time. Some people are already talking about Thursday’s encounter against Orlando Pirates but our focus now is on Manchester City,”



His counterpart at Man City said he could ring changes into the team that played last weekend, “Gareth Bailey, Santa Cruz could feature in the match tomorrow.

Tevez will only join us tonight for the first time at training and will not take any part in the game,” he revealed adding that he is waiting for the arrival of Togolese striker, Emmanuel Adebayo who will arrive in the country on Tuesday.



The former Arsenal hit man is expected to feature in the final of Vodacom Challenge to he held at Loftus on Saturday, 25 July 2009.



Meanwhile the Serbian revealed in the press conference that defender, Zhiamo Jambo and midfield cum striker, Mthokozisi Yende who are both back at training are doubtful starters for the game on Tuesday and later this week against rivals, Orlando Pirates.



Both players are yet to don the black and gold jersey and missed the Premier’s Cup and Persian Tour earlier this month.
